IV Vitamin & Mineral Infusions are an incredible treatment that administers carefully selected cocktails through a standard IV drip, to boost your clients levels & our IV Vitamin Drip Training can teach you how to offer these treatments to your clients. These drips can have a variety of positive effects on your clients, dependant on the choice of vitamins and minerals that you choose to administer, from energy boosting to immune support and even reduction in the signs of aging.

This course is taught by our Vitamin Specialist on a one day basis. You will work directly with them on a number of module, designed to cover all the knowledge you would need, including what to do if you are struggling to find a vein, how to deal with contra-actions and contraindications, and the creations and mixing of you own vitamin drips. The course includes live models for you to work on as part of the training and detailed information on where you can purchase the nessecary tools and products.

Who is the course for?

To be eligible for the IV Vitamin drip training you are required to have a minimum level of experience in human anatomy or aesthetics and beauty practice. Level 3 qualifications in the beauty sector, Experience in piercing the skin. Experience in injectable therapy or a medical qualification are all accepted

Learning modules

Learn the main physiological differences between a vein and an artery, and the locations of the most prominent and easily accessible veins of the arm.

Lecture/Discussion

Learn how to reliably locate strong veins for venepuncture, avoid bad or compromised veins and safely collect blood from your clients

Lecture/Discussion and  Practical Workshop

Learn how a cannula functions, its purpose in both medical and aesthetic practice, reliable positioning and threading and attachment of infusion equipment

Lecture and Practical Workshop

Learn the correct way to prepare and prime your equipment for an intravenous infusion, how to add your vitamin products to the saline ‘base’ and how to administer a mixed drip to your client.

Practical Workshop With Live Models

Learn which vitamins and minerals are available for IV infusion, the effects they have within the body, what a deficiency can present as, how to correctly dose these vitamins and contraindications & how to deal with them
