We're evj, a beauty and aesthetics academy

EVJ is An Aesthetics & Beauty training academy who have trained more than 1000 students of varying skill levels. We help to start your career in the beauty industry and also support and grow your extising aesthetics businesses.

EVJ was founded in 2017, starting out as one room in what was, at the time, our beauty salon. Originally limited to teaching one student at a time, over the years our business has grown exponentially. First moving into its own studio, then to a bigger building and as of 2023 returning to the original location, along with 2 more additional studios to create the full campus we have today.

As our business has grown over the years, we have grown with it. When we began we were a brother and sister duo, one managing the social media and the other offering the training. as the business took off and we added more and more courses, we brought along more and more staff. we now employ 7 tutors and have grow our scope to now include fully funded level 3 diploma training, alongside our extensive range of CPD courses

Where are you based?

EVJ is based just outside of Manchester, about 20 minutes from the city centre. Our post code is SK15 1UL

What training do you offer?

We offer training in all areas of the beauty and aesthetics industry. Our private courses are available nationwide and consist of CPD accredited training and OFqual regulated qualifications. Locally we also provide Funded Salon Sector qualifications to over 19’s and alternative provisions & apprenticeships to under 19’s

Do you offer finance on your courses?

With all our private courses, the only thing you pay up front is your initial deposit. The remaining amount can be either paid in full on the day of your training or financed through our flexible finance partner.

Am I Eligible For Your Funded Courses?

Our funded courses are available to anyone aged 19 or over, who are based in or around the Tameside area and have a UK/EU passport, or a Biometric Residency Permit or are otherwise entitled to public funds.

Do you sell products such as dermal filler?

Our focus as a business is on you and your training, as such we don’t have a prodcut shop. We do however work closely with a local wholesaler who allows us to stock products on their behalf.

I've trained somewhere else and im not confident, can you help?

We will always encourage you to approach your original training provider if you are not happy with your training. If we had ever offered anything less than our best we would want to do everything to put that right, and we belive every business should have that chance. If you cannot reach a happy medium however we will be more than happy to work with you to get you back on the right path.
