The Level 3 Diploma in Combined Beauty Therapy Skills (RQF) is designed for those who are looking to start a career or build skills within the Make-up industry. The course is open to all levels of experience, including complete beginners. Level 3 Make-up is the industry standard qualification and will give you the knowledge and skills required for a strong career in the salon sector
The course takes place on a part time basis, one day a week from 10am to 4pm.
The training includes various assessments, you will be required to complete written assignment along with practical treatments on members of the public.
Please note this course is only available to those in or around the Tameside area
This course is funded through the Advanced Learner Loan service, under Student Finance England.
Student Finance England is a government company who provide funding for the education sector. Every UK resident or residents with settled status are entitled to a minimum of 4 loans under this service. The loans are independent from any banks or finance organisations and are not affected by credit score, benefits or other entitlements you may receive.
The Loan covers the full cost of the course and is only re-payable the year after your course is completed and only once you are over the income threshold (~£25,000 as of 2024). This threshold is based on your individual income and does not include benefits or partner earnings.
If you are earning over the threshold, you will pay back the loan at a rate of 9% of everything you earn over the threshold. See below for an example of how this would break down
If you were earning £25,100, which is £100 over the threshold, you would pay 9% annually, which works out at £9 a year

To be eligible for this course, you must be at least 19 years of age at the start of the course and in possession of either a UK/EU Passport, Birth Certificate or Valid Biometric Residency Permit
